The Ronald McDonald House, at Rady's hospital, is a non-profit oganization that provides a "Home away from home" environment for families of serious ill children who are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.
   By preparing and serving lunch for the employees annd families of the children being treated at the hospitals, the Interact students have made a significant contribution to the well being of these families during a difficult time.  Such acts of kindness and compasssion go a long way in lifting the spirits of those who are going through a challenging period in their lives.
   These Interact students are to be commended for taking the initative to participate in this community service project, as it reflects their dedication  to making a positive impact on the world around them.  This experiencee may have alsso provvided them with a deeper understanding of the importance of volunteer work and the power of giving back to the community.
