It was with a sad hearth that we learned that our friend and fellow Rotarian Sandy Behar had passed from our life here on earth to take on even higher levels of service with God.
Sandy, the person you could always count on.  From hosting the annual Holiday party at his home, to making sure the hamburgers were ready at every work project the club participated in around the community.  Who can forget his effort to ensure we assisted in every way possible with those unfortunate people living in Hatti.
Sandy was that special person who was always actively involved in our club projects, making sure we remained a strong vibrant club, and ensuring we had outstanding fellowship involving all our families.
From the writings of Alfred Lord Tennyson:
“Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me,
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For tho’  from out our bourne of time and place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.”

When God sends forth a tiny soul, to learn the ways of earth, A Mother’s love is waiting here - we call this wonder - birth.
When God calls home a tired soul, and stills a fleeting breath, a Father’s love is waiting there,  This too is birth - not death.
Farewell Sandy, and thank you for making our lives richer and more productive,
Because - YOU CARED!
We will miss his friendly smile, along with his words of good cheer and support.
